Ruwald is a member of the Litigation Department where he primarily deals with civil matters in the High Courts and Magistrate’s Courts. He also has experience in dealing with Labour and Criminal matters.

He matriculated from Kimberley Boys’ High School and completed his studies at the University of Cape Town. He served his articles at Phatshoane Henney Attorneys, completing the Law Society of the South Africa’s (as it then was) LEAD Law School programme in his final year of articles. He joined Van De Wall Inc in July 2021.

He takes an interest in community development and is also an avid football fan. He enjoys working under pressure and believes in always going the extra mile in order to meet clients’ expectations.
