As Van De Wall Inc’s newest Director, Ruwald specialises in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, having represented clients across various forums, which primarily include the High Court and Magistrates’ Courts, as well as various Statutory Tribunals and Specialised Courts.
His practice includes Private, Public, and Criminal law, and, as a recently qualified Insolvency Practitioner, he is establishing an Insolvency law practice focusing on the administration of Insolvent Estates.
He matriculated from Kimberley Boys’ High School and completed his studies at the University of Cape Town. He served his articles at PH Attorneys, completing the Law Society of South Africa’s (as it then was) LEAD Law School programme in his final year of articles.
He joined Van De Wall Inc. in July 2021 and was appointed Director in August 2025, a challenging yet exciting venture.
He finds launching Urgent Applications particularly thrilling as he enjoys working under pressure.
He takes an interest in community development and enjoys sports. He believes in perpetual learning and always going the extra mile in order to meet clients’ expectations.
